This is one of the first multi-projector planetarium projects we have built in Turkey. The 13m Diameter Dome's first set up was with 8 Sony High-End Projectors. Later the projectors changed with lower resolution Casio Laser projectors which affected the overall resolution drop from 4K to 2K. The maintainance of Casio Laser projectors supercedes the hologen bulb Sony Projectors was one of the reasons for downgrade. At the time of the installation Laser projector technology was in air borne stage and was not affordably available.
